WORSHIP

We are glad you are interested in finding out more about the life of the church. Take a quick look to see how you and your family can connect with God and others at Summer Memorial Lutheran.

10:30 am - Every Sunday - Worship Services with Communion. Those who commune in other churches may also take part in communion at Summer Memorial.

9:30 am - Every Sunday - Sunday School.  The educational hour precedes the service and we have classes for all ages beginning with Nursery and stimulating discussion classes for  Adults.  Our Adult Seekers class is a discussion type group that reaches into the depths of God's plan for us as new challenges are met.   We learn about Jesus and have fun, too.

We have an elevator with an outside entrance that enables access to all levels of our church building.  We also have wheelchairs accessible at the entrance of the Nathex and Fellowship Halls.  An Usher is available and will be happy to assist those who require this service.

Our weekly gathering services are an important reason we exist in a Church.  Various mid-week services and meetings are scheduled throughout the year, such as, Lenten Services, committee meetings, IGNITE confirmation ministry, music rehearsals to name a few of the mid-week activities.

Children of all ages are welcomed and encouraged to be present during worship. However, a nursery is provided for those families who wish childcare during the service. .
